TDX: IPTV-out 12 service - Start

This license enables the option to broadcast 12 services as either SPTS from an IP Backend (492072) on the AUX ports or as MPTS on the Link ports. Services from the IP backend will broadcast SPTS, which the receiving TV or set-top box must be able to decode. MPTS is typically used between headends.

This function will be disabled after the 30-day trial period.

TDX & TDH: PAL AC3 activation license

AC3 is a digital audio coding technique patent, owned by Dolby Digital. This license is only necessary if digital received services with digital stereo audio (IP, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2) are broadcasted on analogue backends (PAL or PAL HD->SD). All license fees are forwarded from TRIAX to Dolby Digital after license purchase.

TDX: SimulCrypt 24 service

With SimulCrypt the TDX gets the optional capability to do DVB content protection. The embedded scrambling doesn’t require any additional scrambling hardware. Connected to a CAS server the TDX allows to freely select which services should be scrambled.

This function will be disabled after the 30-day trial period.

TDX: Alternative EIT source

This enables the usage of an alternative EIT source on digital frontends. EIT is data used for the Program guide. Normally the EIT data is provided on the carrier of the specific service.

This function will be disabled after the 30-day trial period.

TDX & TDH: PID management

PID is short for 'Packets Identifiers' and is unique for each elementary stream (AV, audio, scrambling information, etc) on a digital backend (COFDM, QAM). These PIDs can be fixed out of the headend, so a reboot of the headend won't change any PIDs. Normally this will not be an issue for receiving TV and set-top boxes. On rare occasions, it can be necessary to enable PID management to make it simpler for the installer.

This function will be disabled after the 30-day trial period.

TDX & TDH: Installation/Activation key

This license is free and ends the trial period of the TDX. This means, that you might want to install this license when the trial period has ended and you have tested the license-based services described above. The license also removes the "nag screen/pop-up" telling you, that the TDX is unregistered.
