When you are about to register your headend solution or purchase a license, you need to extract the 'Equipment File' from the headend.
The equipment file is only available from systems running software 4.x .
If you haven't upgraded the headend yet, please see the article : Software Upgrade (Sw3.x -> SW4.x)
First you need to login into the headend.
Click 'Admin'.
Click 'System Maintenance'.
Click 'Save Equip'.
- Click 'Save' to save into your Download folder, or 'Save as' if you wish so save the file elsewhere.
Your browser will now download the Equipment file to your computer.
